Journal
Editorial Policy
This policy describes how Dangerous Street Journal content is made. It applies to every published article.
Research and sources
Guide content (materials, fit, care) is based on generally accepted textile knowledge and our own product experience. Cultural history articles are based on generally documented cultural knowledge; where individual claims could be contested, we phrase them conservatively or leave them out.
Product claims
We only make claims about our own products that we can verify. Specific measurements, such as fabric weights, are published only once finally recorded. An article prefers no number to an approximate one. Statements that require owner verification are flagged and checked before publication.
Tools and responsibility
The editorial team works with digital tools, including AI-assisted ones, for structure, research organisation and editing. Responsibility for every published sentence lies with the editorial team and the brand team, not the tool. Invented interviews, quotes, testimonials or production stories are ruled out.
Updates
Every article carries a publication date and a modification date. Substantive revisions reset the modification date; pure typo fixes do not.
Separation of editorial and commerce
Product references appear only where contextually justified, and never in exchange for editorial claims. There are no paid placements.
